While we are putting our trays up, seat forward etc the pilots are doing so much more to keep us safe and getting us safely on the ground. Hats off to these pilots and all pilots around the world 🌎. Thank you 🙏

imagine the confusion as passengers seeing the speedbrakes going up and down continuously just because the captain is explaining it to the film crew XD. Very awesome video and I love the 787 flightdeck and that Singapore a380 is amazing.

edit: I see some people didn't get it. Pilots do extend speedbrakes to aid in descent. This is not a rare occasion. I was just pointing out as the captain wanted to show to the person filming how you can see it on the display by moving it up and down continuously. That's why as a passenger pov it must be funny. And I over exaggerated as this was a joke. Calm down folks.

One of your very best. Beautifully clear shots, including the tourist sites and the usual last minute Heathrow landing clearance. Nice footage.

always amazes me, the sheer size of these machines and how they stay up there.
the other thing that really gets me to sit up and take notice, the calmness of the crew and the "matter of fact" voices of air traffic I freely admit I couldn't do it

I really like the repeat of the last stage of landing from the different viewpoints. I remain amazed at the high skill and professionalism of the pilots of these heavy aircraft.

Of course, the biggest hassle after a descent through cloud is getting all of the fluffy clumps of cotton wool out of the engines afterwards. ;-)

[Note: this is not a serious observation. Please also note that if you needed to be told that, you should be on much stronger medication. Consult the Emergency Medical Hologram immediately.]

Funny how auto pilot maintains a smooth stabilised approach then immediately it's disengaged the PIC is pumping control inputs like crazy :)

I've flown once in the skies above London and it was fucking scary man, soooo many aircraft cutting about. Respect to the pilots/ATC for keeping it orderly and safe.

It's great having no planes flying over london. Lovely clean air. Will save thousands of lives in the long run. Also great that 3rd runway will never be built. lol
