The scale of destruction of the Abaco Islands after Hurricane Dorian could be seen in the aerial footage from Tuesday.

Dorian, which lasted as a Category 5 hurricane for over 24 hours after reaching 185 miles per hour (297km) winds while battering the Bahamas, has been downgraded to a Category 2 storm on Tuesday morning, after since decreasing in wind strength.

At least five people were reportedly killed during the storm, with authorities in the Bahamas fearing the death toll will rise.

I've been through many category 5's in the South Pacific and there was not a structure left standing, wood or cement. This looks amazing! They must build some very strong homes in the Bahamas!
