I think it’s the most beautiful of violin concertos (and there are so many to choose from). I played a recording of this concerto for my mother (it was he favourite) as she lay on her deathbed and I will never ever forget her reaction. It moved her to another place. Someplace only she new where😊❤️🙏

What a glorious gift this wonderful and highly talented soul has given to the world. I don't know much about classical music except that I love listening to it and this performance of Mr. Perlman is extraordinary to the ear and heart. For the time he and the orchestra are playing I'm off on a wonderful journey in my head.

I adore Itzhak Perlman - for his talent and virtuosity but even more as a person. He is always happy and smiling as he arrives on stage to play - despite the fact that mobility is a challenge for him. Such a positive force in the World. So needed - especially now. Bravo 👏👏🎶

These boys would have been the boffins at my school. The ones that wore a uniform and carried a violin in a non-threatening way. The ones that took four years of bullying and abuse but boy can they deliver now. Sorry lads. Glad it turned out well.

Wow....the combination of this extraordinary orchestra, Daniel Barenboim and Itzhak and absolutely breathtakingly beautiful.

Perlman sometimes makes a violin sound like a cello, other times indistinguishable from a song bird. Absolutely healing. . . . the love and respect on the faces of the orchestra in camera view when he walks on; it's palpable.

Beethoven, Perlman, Barenboim, and the Berlin Philharmonic!
Bottom line, it just does not get any better than this!

I realize it's the internet, so everything is fair game, but I fail to make any sense of how 93 people found themselves watching this video and "Disliked" it. How did you end up here if you didn't already want to see "Itzhak Perlman – Beethoven: Violin Concerto (with Daniel Barenboim, Berliner Philharmoniker)"? The title isn't exactly clickbate...
